Edward who? Seriously, after watching the pilot episode (just recently, late fan here) of Vampire Diaries, I felt all sorts of emotions and I instantly got addicted to it. Something I never felt for the whole Twilight saga even though I tried my best to ride the whole frenzy, sad. Cast? Superb. Can probably do better with some characters, but I can say it’s pretty much satisfying already to not watch actors who are trying too hard (coughs *twilight*). And I mean, how can you go wrong with Ian ‘iamthehottestvampireintheworld’ Somerhalder??? And I have to admit, even the main vampires’ names are prettty sexy (read: Damon & Stefan SALVATORE). And more than anything? The main casts’ chemistry is undeniable and it’s actually there. For a big fan of all things supernatural, I’m really satisfied with this. Perfect guilty pleasure everytime I come home from work. And I hear season 2 is coming up! And I can’t. Bloody. Wait.
